Getting Started

Dogs - New Customers

If your pup has not visited our facility there are certain steps that must be taken before your dog can participate in Alpine Canine's programs.

The first step is to register your pet. This must be done before scheduling a behavioral evaluation.

Next, click the Register button below and fill out our New Owner Form. Please make sure to read everything carefully and fill out all information regarding you and your pet(s). Please add a picture of your pet when filling out the form.

Now that you have a profile created- it's time to schedule a behavioral evaluation! This is a chance for your dog to start acclimating to the sights, smells, and sounds of our state-of-the art facility and all of the human and non-human residents.

The evaluation process is designed to make sure your dog is a good fit with the rest of the pack, and it also gives you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about our services. To schedule the evaluation call or text us at 406-541-4453. Alternatively, you may email us at This evaluation cannot proceed until your pet is registered. See above.

Some things you should know first:

  • This is not a normal "daycare" day. Think of it as a quick "meet and greet!" You will drop off your dog for a short period of time and pick them up an hour later, shorter or longer, depending on each dog(s). Then, one of our trained staff will report to you on how your dog did.
  • We must have updated records of Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella at (or before) the time of your dog's evaluation, otherwise we are unable to allow your dog on the grounds, for the safety of our staff and the rest of our campers. You can upload a file of your dog's records directly into your profile.
  • It is highly encouraged for you to have your dog spend a day or two at daycare before a longer boarding stay (4+ Nights) so they get used to the routine and know that you will come back for them.
  • If you are interested in our hiking services- we require that your dog spends at least three days in our lower play yards, so they establish the building as "Home Base." Dogs that are showing signs of anxiety may need more time to warm up.

Lastly, if your dog(s) has(have) passed the behavioral evaluation, you are now welcome to drop your dog(s) off any time for daycare, no need to call and schedule. If you are interested in boarding your dog(s) please do call ahead to schedule as we are often quite busy.

We look forward to getting to know you and your pup(s)!
